The Lord saw that man, was not yet perfect

And all that he created, was not yet perfect

And for those hoods all over the world, things were not yet perfect

Something was missing

And so God, he blessed the world with a new creation

And it was called Hip Hop

And so it was, it started, in a land called the South Bronx

And God saw that it was good

And so it was, hip hop spread throughout the boroughs of New York

And God saw, that it was good

And so it was, hip hop spread throughout the entire land
