“Authentik” by Blanche Bailly is her first studio album. As the album title suggests, Bailly celebrates her authentic self and encourages her listeners to do the same. From leaving France on her own to pursue a music career in Cameroon to running her own independent music label, Bailly has faced so many trials and tribulations all while staying authentic to herself and her mission as an artist. Bailly shows a softer side of her in tracks like “Aimer” ft Ko-C and Kayamata. In an industry where you must be strong and tough, Bailly shows that when it comes to love, she is able to let her guard down and allow herself to fall in love.
