Why Dybala's departure is bad news for Chelsea and Manchester United

Juventus dropped a bomb on Monday and announced that club logo Paulo Dybala would leave at the end of the season.
Dybala has been a fan favorite for seven seasons in Turin, scoring 113 goals and winning five Scudetti.
But Juventus have chosen not to extend his contract, which expires at the end of this season.
"The most important change is that Juventus have not signed Paulo Dybala," Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene confirmed.
"With the acquisition made in January, and the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic, Paul's position was no longer at the center of the project. That is why such a decision was proposed.
“The criteria were different, I have already talked about it, no one has ever questioned Paul's ability. There were things to consider about appearance, height and financial issues.
"We made our choice in January, and we got here. It would have been easy for Juventus to make a small offer, but it would have been disrespectful to Paul. The decision is being made. Today's meeting was friendly, open and respectful."
So Dybala will now move on, with Atletico Madrid and Inter considering the list of players mentioned earlier to sign him - although there is considerable interest from Tottenham and it is said that Arsenal and Man City are also.
But Dybala's departure from Juventus could mean bad news for the other two Premier League clubs; Chelsea and Manchester United.
By the end of 2021, Dybala and Juventus had agreed a new four-year contract worth € 8 million a year plus € 2m in bonuses.
Bianconeri will now save a significant amount from their salary bill and this savings will be set aside to fund new summer registrations.
Juventus are targeting Rudiger and Pogba
Two of their main targets in the summer transfer window are Antonio Rudiger and Paul Pogba. Both players, like Dybala, also see their contracts expire at the end of June.
Juventus have reportedly been linked with a move for Rudiger if he decides to leave Chelsea. The German international, who has proven himself to be one of the best defenders in Europe under Thomas Tuchel, wants to wait and see who Chelsea's new owners are first but if he decides to leave then Juve is now the first option.
Juventus will sign center-back this summer as Giorgio Chiellini, 37, and Leonardo Bonucci, 34, suffer from a hamstring injury this season. Central defender Daniele Rugani is also not at the required level and cost Juventus in the Champions League last week when they left for Villarreal in the round of 16.
The Bianconeri will also sign a senior midfielder this summer. Pogba, who played for Juve from 2012 to 2016 before returning to Man Utd for a fee of € 100m-plus, is at the top of the list of potential signings for the position.
Pogba looks unlikely to stay at Man Utd due to the turmoil on the pitch but Juventus could not afford the Frenchman's salary - or Rudiger's - if Dybala signed a new contract. The departure of Dybala will now allow Juve to sign at least one of them.
Chelsea's Jorginho, who has only one year left on his Chelsea contract, is another option in the midfield.
