An incredible actor Dwayne Johnson 'The Rock' of the famous Fast & Furious film has confirmed he will not be starring in any more of the franchise movies.
After starring as the forceful Luke Hobbs in Fast Installations 5 through 8 since 2011 and headlining his own spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, Dwayne Johnson sat out last month's F9. Fans will be furious to know he isn't coming back.
There has reportedly been tension between Johnson and his co-star Vin Diesel for a decade. The latest fallout came when Diesel, a producer of the franchise, took credit for Rock's performance as a result of 'tough love' approach on the shoot.
Asked about it on a Hollywood Reporter interview, 'I laughed and laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. I wish them well on Fast 9 and wish them the best of luck on Fast 10 and 11 and the rest of the Fast & Furious movies they will do without me" he said.
In 2016 Johnson expressed frustration with male co-stars saying, "some conduct themselves as stand-up men and true professionals while others don't. The ones that don't care are too chicken to do anything about it anyway."
Seems his beef with Diesel has been making his blood boil till he opted out.
