One of the most popular and powerful songs at the moment in the 254 is Ndovu Ni Kuu by Krispah featuring Khaligraph Jones ans Boutross. The jam is all over the airwaves and Social settings.
The artist Krispah suffers a major setback after the hit record that had amassed a stunning 3 million views was taken down due to copyright infringement claim by upcoming artist Dexta Briyanka.
According to the platform's terms and conditions, Krispah is likely to lose revenue generated by the video so far. Dexta claims that a sample of his beat from the song 'V8' was used. He also claims that the lyrics promoted violence in Kenyatta University making parents think no learning takes place there.
Krispah took to Social Media to explain that he had a meeting with K.U officials where they reached an agreement on performing at the school's graduation. He hit them with the charges and suddenly he gets a copyright claim.
Copyright owners may choose to restrict websites or apps where their content appears. If Krispah chooses to dispute the claims by upcoming rapper Dexta, the latter will have 30 days to respond.
For now you can stream Ndovu Ni Kuu here and our amazing Gengetone playlists.
