On This Day In 2018, Drake Dropped Scorpion. Is This Album Overrated Or Underrated?

Today, June 29 marks the 3rd year anniversary of Drakes fifth studio album 'Scorpion'. The 25-track project found Drake playing both sides of the fence on each of the album's faces.

Drake gave his grizzled and gleaming Hiphop influences as well as his lovable light-skinned care and sensitive soul.

Scorpion became his eighth highest consecutive No.1 album on Billboard's 200 spending 5 weeks the top. The album sold over 3.9 million equivalent album units. It was the most streamed album of that year.

With the success the album scored, some singles on the tape elevated it to the levels. 'God's Plan', 'Nice For What', and 'In My Feelings' were some of the singles that were a pop culture staple and No. 1 hits. They spent 36 weeks on Billboard Hot 100.

Drake broke the record for most weeks at No. 1 by any artist in a year. Scorpion had the largest week of 2018 earning 732,000 units mostly from streaming.

Critics claimed Scorpion was one of his weakest projects to date referring to 'Take Care' and 'Nothing Was The Same' as his best sets. Do you agree?
