Meghan and Harry Land Netflix Deal – Will We See An Acting Royal Couple?!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are now into the streaming business after landing a multi-year deal with Netflix. The couple are looking to use this platform to make documentaries, feature films, TV shows and kids shows alike. As it turns out, since moving to California, Meghan and Prince Harry have been pitching movie and TV show concepts in and around Hollywood.

“Our lives, both independent of each other and as a couple, have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection,” Meghan and Harry said in a statement. “Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.”

The couple will look to produce content on issues close to their hearts, synonymous to those that will be highlighted by their new nonprofit organization, Archewell, seemingly named after their first born son. “As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us, as is powerful storytelling through a truthful and relatable lens,” they said. “We are pleased to work with Ted and the team at Netflix whose unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content that unlocks action.”
