Cardi B Praises Nicki Minaj In A New Interview. Are They Friends Now?

It’s a new age and yes you read that right. Cardi, Nicki and praise in one sentence! Who would have thought? Nicki Minaj has been in the rap scene for over a decade and this in turn gave her a massive following, tons of influence and die hard stans. Cardi is more recent and this in turn has given her… well…the same exact things mentioned for Nikki.



You all know the story about how and when she rose to fame and how each rapper’s stans were dying for a war to break out between the two. Well along with their smash hit “Motorsport” came the onset of their epic feud that has kept fans entertained throughout this time.
The most in-your-face moment of course had to be in 2018 while attending a fashion week party in New York. Shoes were thrown, faces were blown and it was official, Cardi and Nicki officially had beef. Tons of reasons were given as to what caused the beef, the two went on endless social media rants calling each other out on different issues and boy weren’t those the times.


Well sorry to all the beef subscribers because it sounds like Cardi actually respects Nicki when she said "When I was younger...when I was 6, 7, 8, there was a lot of female rappers and then there was a time when there was no female rappers at all," Cardi responds when asked about the female rappers she looked up to growing up. "I had to keep replaying songs from the early 2000s. Like, I had to keep replaying it, replaying it, replaying it because for a while there wasn't no female rappers. And then, there was one female rapper that dominated for a very long time and she did pretty good and still dominating."


This was during an interview on August 7th where she was promoting her new single “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. Now I don’t know about you but sounds a lot like Cardi is talking about Nicki. Nicki minaj hit the rap scene in the early 2000s and from then on the collective term for “dominating” and “female” and “rapper” has always been in regards to her. Does this mean Cardi and Nicki are now straight or is this just a smoke screen?. Smells to me like squashed beef. What do you think?
