America's Got Talent Judge Simon Cowell Involved In A Bike Accident Risking Paralysis

Simon Cowell is one of the most respected people in Hollywood. From how he conducts himself on shows like the X factor and Got talent, he almost appears indestructible right? Well maybe that explains his adventure spirit which sometimes throws him off. Literally.



Being a father to the adorable baby Eric and running his own part of the world, Simon does not strike you as the type to buy electric bikes and run down the stairs. But hey, even at 60, you have to live life don’t you? The world certainly needs more Simons. More ‘careful’ Simons.

He recently got into an accident while riding his new electric bike, at his home in Malibu. The 60 year old TV personality has been involved in a couple of accidents, this one being the most shocking one after 2017. In 2017 he fell down the stairs at his London home. This, he says changed his outlook on life, in the following words; "Sometimes we get a reminder that we're not invincible and this was certainly mine," he told the Sun newspaper at the time. "It was a huge shock."



So now after his six hour back surgery, he went on twitter and said “Some good advice...If you buy an electric trail bike, read the manual before you ride it for the first time. I have broken part of my back. Thank you to everyone for your kind messages.” Okay Simon with the jokes.


But on a more serious note, sources report that the accident was so serious, he was “one centimeter” away from being paralyzed. His spokeswoman however came out to assure everyone that all wis well, saying "He's doing fine, he's under observation and is in the best possible hands."

Simon Cowell is now reported to be back home recovering with no major issues as a point of concern. So what do we say to the god of back injuries Simon? Not Today.
