Multiple Award winning Kenyan singer Bahati is the latest recipient of Plaques from the Home of Music, Boomplay.
Known for hits like 'Mi Amor', 'Size Yangu' and 'Wanani', Bahati was presented with a plaque for hitting over 8 million streams on Boomplay. The singer currently has over 19 million streams and only needs about 300k to hit the 20 million mark.
His rise in streams this year has hugely been contributed to by his album 'Love Like This'. The 10-track project has over 7.5 million streams with songs like 'Pete Yangu' featuring Nadia Mukami and 'Kiss' featuring Rayvanny some of the most streamed tracks on it.
Generally, Bahati has been recording at least 100k streams on most of his releases. He is currently Kenya's second most listened to artiste on Boomplay after Otile Brown.
The singer promised his fans the best and asked them to continue enjoying his music on Boomplay.
"I just want to thank my fans for constantly supporting my music. Keep enjoying my music on Boomplay and watch out for new releases coming out soon" he said.
